On behalf of Ferris State University and the entire 2017 conference planning committee, we invite you to join us for the King Chavez Parks Equity Within the Classroom Conference March 19-21, in Big Rapids on the campus of Ferris State University.
The Equity Within the Classroom conference provides a unique opportunity for higher education and K-12 faculty and administrators, as well as community partners, to come together to share best practices, data and research findings, and strategies for improving academic equity for underserved and/or diverse student groups. The theme for the 27th annual conference is Equity By Design. For the 2017 conference, FSU’s Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion announce a call for submission of artwork that represents the conference theme of Equity By Design. The winning work will appear on all conference materials. Additionally, FSU’s Fine Art Gallery invite you to participate in a juried art competition and exhibit that will coincide with the conference. For further information and details about submitting your art, please refer to the menu tabs identified for each event.
